The Monday Morning Memo

These chairs: not so good, but the Don wanted to see this movie.
Sancho is in the doorway looking for us. His eyes are still getting used
to the dark. Can you guess the movie we’re watching? Give it a shot.
Send us ONE movie title – the movie you believe Don Quixote
is watching with Sancho Panza and Indiana Beagle in this photo –
and tell us WHY you believe that’s the movie we’re seeing.

Choose the correct movie and your name will be added to the invitation list for that special event being prepared for the Saturday Morning Dogs at Wizard Academy. In the event that multiple people guess correctly, the win will go to the first person who submitted the correct answer.

I’ll give you a hint: It’s not a movie in which dogs are prominent
and it’s not the movie in which Harrison Ford admits to borrowing my
name (below.) Send your movie title and the logic behind your selection of it
to Michele@WizardAcademy.org
before 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 17, 2012.
And may the Force be with you.

(No, it’s not a Star Wars movie, either. You didn’t think it was going to be THAT easy, did you?
And it isn’t Cinderella, in case you were thinking my 11:59 PM reference was a
“stroke of midnight/pumpkin” clue… Sheesh.
Okay, I’ll at least tell you this: all the clues you need are contained
somewhere in this rabbit hole and a really BIG one is on this page.
But don’t think I’m looking for the literal answer; “a battle scene currently
in the possession of Italian film editor
Mauro Bonanni.” Use your imagination.
Quixote is watching a movie in what appears to be the late 1960s or early 70s.
And remember, there are other clues not on this page of the rabbit hole.
