Monday Morning Memo

LORI:  I’m Lori Ramsey. My brother Robert and I are the son and daughter of a New Orleans jewelry designer.

ROBERT: Looking at the diamond jewelry of Bob Ramsey was like looking at fireworks on the 4th of July.

LORI:  Our Dad told us, “We create diamond jewelry as a gift of love.”

ROBERT: “Our only purpose is to help people say, “I Love You.”

WES:  My brother Bobby and I are the grandsons of Bob Ramsey.

BOBBY: And our kids are the 4th generation of the “I Love You” family that was started by their great-grandfather.

LORI:  Ramsey’s Diamond Jewelers is the “I Love You” store.

ROBERT: Do you love someone?

WES:  Give them diamond jewelry that sparkles like fireworks on the 4th of July.

LORI:  Ramsey’s Diamond Jewelers is the “I Love You” store.

BOBBY: We sell engagement rings and big anniversary diamonds,

WES:  and diamond tennis bracelets and diamond earrings,

LORI:  Because Ramsey’s Diamond Jewelers is the “I Love You” store.

ROBERT: Show us something fantastic that you saw online, and we’ll show
it to you in our store.

ROY: Rrrramsey’s Diamond Jewelers, on Veterans between Bonnable and West End in Metairie.

LORI: The “I Love You” store.

Random Quote:

“You’re obliged to pretend respect for people and institutions you think absurd. You live attached in a cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you despise, condemn and know lack all foundation. It is that permanent contradiction between your ideas and desires and all the dead formalities and vain pretenses of your civilization which makes you sad, troubled and unbalanced. In that intolerable conflict you lose all joy of life and all feeling of personality, because at every moment they suppress and restrain and check the free play of your powers. That’s the poisoned and mortal wound of the civilized world.  [I think maybe Octave was having a bad day. – Indy Beagle]”

- Octave Mirbeau, (1848 – 1917)
