Reefer Madness from 2005 tried desperately to be one of these cult classics. I think it missed the mark specifically because the makers were so obvious.
The only part that stuck with me was Alan Cumming as a smarmy manipulative politician.
I’m almost certain he said, “Never let a crisis go to waste.”
We rented it because it looked to be like Little Shop of Horrors… now that’s a fun movie to watch over and over again.
