The Monday Morning Memo

Saint-Indy-TravelOffer

Speaking of portals, the Wizard’s once-every-other-year class, Portals and the 12 Languages of the Mind is coming up next month and at the time of this writing there are still a few free rooms left on campus.  This is one of those classes that will melt your brain. But in a good way. You should look it over, especially since you can keep your free room on campus for an extra 3 days and stay in Austin for the South by Southwest music weekend. There aren’t any hotel rooms left within 60 miles of Austin.

To walk into the past, I need you to send my man Andrew@WizardOfAds.com a digital photograph or painting and the story of what you want me to find out for you after I walk into it and commence to sniffing around.  I can’t promise you anything other than that I’ll do my best. And if I can’t find out what you’d like to know, I promise to make something up that sounds plausible.

Random Quote:

“A lot of my work comes from what in Asia is called the ‘mind of wonder.’ There is not a lot of ‘mind of wonder’ writing in contemporary Western literature. I think that’s what appeals to the readers who are my fans.”
