The Monday Morning Memo

Peterhof Palace, laid out by Pyotr Alexeyevich Romanov
(Peter the Great, Tsar of Russia 1682-1696) is near the home of
the honorable William Hackett-Jones, Wizard Academy’s official
ambassador to Russia stationed in St. Petersburg.

The entrance to Peterhof Palace is marked by the Grand Cascade,
a series of beautifully sculptured statues and fountains on a row of
stairs which are located on both sides of an underground chamber.
The water from the fountains flow into a semi-circular marble pool.
In the center of this pool is the Samson Fountain, featuring the
world’s most famous statue of Samson tearing open
the jaws of the Lion.

Like our own statue, it is inaccurate
regarding the length of Samson’s hair.

You’re curious about my obsession with this hair thing, right?
Please keep in mind that I am a beagle. Hair is important to dogs.

Random Quote:

“There are two fools in this world. One is the millionaire who thinks that by hoarding money he can somehow accumulate real power, and the other is the penniless reformer who thinks that if only he can take the money from one class and give it to another, all the world's ills will be cured.”

- Henry Ford
