The Monday Morning Memo

ScotlandBeagle_Reunion_2014

Jeffrey Eisenberg holds Bocce (Italian for Kisses) with the last few stragglers
who made it down to the GLORIOUS Keith’s Barbecue bus at lunchtime on Saturday.
It was parked next to the tower on the Wizard Academy campus. Good-Good Food.

The previous evening, (the second day of this year’s 3-Day Academy Reunion,)
Vice Chancellor Daniel Whittington picked up a guitar and made it work for its supper.
Jaimee Harris, an important artist in this part of the country, accompanied the WhitBrit.
Prepare to be amazed.

Random Quote:

“I do not regard advertising as entertainment or an art form, but as a medium of information. When I write an advertisement, I don’t want you to tell me that you find it ‘creative.’ I want you to find it so interesting that you buy the product. When Aeschines spoke, they said, ‘How well he speaks.’ But when Demosthenes spoke, they said, ‘Let us march against Philip.'”

- David Ogilvy, Ch. 1, paragraph 1, Ogilvy on Advertising
