Pennie and I went to the theater on Saturday afternoon.
The men in the audience were a comical bunch; bald on top, hair on the sides too long, swept back. Short beards. Tweed sport coats with suede patches on the elbows. All of them looked exactly like me. None of the women looked like Pennie.
The play was excellent. We were amazed that actors would prepare so hard for so long to perform for so few. It was truly an incredible experience.
When we got home I asked Pennie to cut my hair.
