All of us, to some degree, present ourselves to the social world in the guise of Character. We are all actors.

The Digital world allows us to distort our image … create an artificial version of our lives … and hide our authentic identity behind digital walls; giving us the cloak of anonymity … which allows us to say virtually anything without direct and immediate consequences to ourselves.

This is the world of FAKEBOOK and SOCIAL MEDIA.

It’s easy to heap ridicule on someone online … it takes some cajones to look someone in the eye and say it to them face-to-face.

Our interconnected world has opened amazing doors of possible we couldn’t have imagined… but it also pried up the lid of Pandora’s box and loosed some unimaginable problems.

Same for Ai … it’s a two edged sword … and a big one.

It’s transforming our world at a phenomenal pace … and in many ways that are positive.

However

It’s completely blurred the line between real and artificial when it comes to information and the capacity for it to spread like a virulent virus in a daycare.

Ai is stuff right out of SciFi novels becoming reality.

And we thought the world had shifted when we stopped using the Yellow Pages.
