The Monday Morning Memo

Here's the view of Engelbrecht House, Chapel Dulcinea and the unfinished Classroom Tower on the campus of Wizard Academy. When complete, the amount of the tower visible above the treeline will be increased by nearly 100 percent.

The photo below lets you see how much of the tower is below the treeline.  The Art Gallery/Wine Cellar will be entered from underground.  The approach begins at ground level. Walk directly toward the north star for 300 feet and you'll be 14 feet underground due to to hillside rising around you while your path remains level. Carving that approach through solid limestone was no easy task but the effect is spectacular, especially at night.

“Reading a Vila-Matas novel is like watching someone weave a beautiful tapestry with one hand while unravelling it just as expertly with the other.”
