The Monday Morning Memo

Lisa Sutton, a cognoscenti of Magical Worlds, plays violin 900 feet above the city of Austin. Lisa played Titania, Queen of the Fairies, in Monica Ballard’s amazing production of Robin Goodfellow, an adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (below) at the base of the Tower one evening. It was fabulous. This sculpture by Gary Lee Price – along with the rest of the Star Deck – was a gift from our friend Dave McInnis.

Random Quote:

“

BRAD: We are familiar with the often-quoted saying, ‘Better late than never,’ to which some people will add, ‘but better, never late.’

Likewise, we are familiar with the saying ‘Better safe than sorry.’

So now we can write, “Better safe than sorry, but better, never safe.”

ROY: It makes perfect sense until you think about it. But why?

BRAD: Parallel structure.

ROY: Oh. Now I see it.”
