The Monday Morning Memo

During the Wizard of Ads partner meeting, Dylan and Jay watched Dylan’s video from the library catwalk above the Eye of the Storm lecture hall in the Wizard’s Tower. You cannot buy your way into a Wizard of Ads partnership. You’ve got to be invited by the Wizard. And you pay him nothing for the privilege. If he gets to know you well enough and sees consistent genius in you, he will invite you into partnership. Dylan and Jay are still in their 20’s, so their invitations came as a huge honor to them. The older partners are quickly adding Jay and Dylan into their client-service teams. – Indy Beagle

Random Quote:

“The word 'teenager' did not enter the popular English Language until 1941 when it appeared in a Popular Science magazine article. 'It seems to have leaked into the language from the world of advertising and marketing, where demographic information was becoming an increasingly important part of predicting which sales approaches are most effective with particular buyers.'”
