The Monday Morning Memo

Fifty Victorian lamps – spaced barely 50 feet apart – draw an inexplicable line of light through the wilderness that separates Wizard Academy from its neighbors. Hundreds of thousands of people will see these lights each year and wonder, “Who? What? Why?”

The truly curious will discover that each Victorian Lamp has a little brass nameplate with a name on it.

I’d like for one of those names to be yours.

Not only will your name be be honored as a shining light on the Wizard Academy campus, the wizard will send you a copy of the sharply limited-edition hardback Chatbook, “The Power of the Universe at Your Fingertips,” a summary of Third Gravitating Bodies and how they can be used as a practical application of Chaos Theory.

Just tell us what name you want us to engrave on the brass.

And be sure to give us a postal mailing address to which the wizard can send your summary of Third Gravitating Bodies.

Dave Young,
Vice-chancellor, Wizard Academy
daveyoung@wizardacademy.org

PS – The lamps actually cost more than $1,000 each to install, but Roy and Pennie have already paid for the manpower, the rental of drilling equipment to mount all 50 lights into the limestone of our plateau, the cement to anchor them, the wiring to energize them, and the light bulbs to shout your name into the night. All you need to do is pay for the commercial quality post and Victorian lamp head ($500). What a deal!
